silence

why are you standing there?
waiting for me to leave
i'm not going anywhere
i need this time to breathe

i ask for your forgiveness
you give me no reply
always oblivious to what i say
can't stand this much longer

why keep this going?
and try to make me believe
that i'm worthless space
by the words you don't say

my rage keeps on building
i still cant let go
because i know there is something there
that will change

am i wrong?
