silence

why are you standing there?
waiting for me to leave
i'm not going anywhere
i need this time to breathe

i ask for your forgiveness
you give me no reply
always oblivious to what i say
can't stand this much longer

why keep this going?
and try to make me believe
that i'm worthless space
by the words you don't say

my rage keeps on building
i still cant let go
because i know there is something there
that will change

am i wrong?

The Darkness

Our love has vanished
The days have passed
We enter the darkness
Where our shadows no longer last

As the memories follow
We have to move on
Listen to the silence
In the dark night when whispers call

Striving to be seen
Never to be heard
Into the silent darkness
Where you won’t speak a word

As we move on
We regret what we have done
Attempted to make things better
Unfortunately it came to its worst
